Most of the watches we sell are over 30 years old. We focus on vintage timepieces, which typically were not designed and engineered with the same processes and materials that modern watches are. Our watches are not water resistant, nor are they guaranteed for accuracy. You will need to keep our watches from interacting with water, including, but not limited to, rain and splashes from washing your hands.
Because vintage watches are not as accurate as modern mechanical or quartz watches, it's very common for a vintage watch in good working order to gain or lose a few minutes per day. We do use a timegrapher to ensure that at the time of listing, a watch is not gaining or losing more than 3 minutes per day. We will describe the current working order of the watch in each listing, including known replacement parts. Unless otherwise stated, upon receipt, buyers should assume that their new watch will need a regular service by a professional watchmaker at their own expense.
